Waharoa Transport

Waharoa Transport offer nationwide pickup and delivery of goods ranging from dairy to cardboard. We pride ourselves upon our quality service and attention to customer needs. All carrier units have GPS tracking enabled to ensure that all goods can be tracked to their destination. This also allows dispatch to inform customers of any complications in real time. Waharoa Transport operates a registered risk management program that allows us to transport milk and manufactured dairy products nationwide. Waharoa Transport itself is split into different areas in order to be as effective as possible. These areas are:

General Freight

Containers: 8 Skelly and Flat deck units make up a majority of the container fleet. 3 swing lifts make up the rest of the fleet that service our customers in the Tauranga, Matamata, and Auckland areas.

Curtainsiders: We operate a 15 truck fleet ranging from 9 axle 50 tonne units to B-Train. 4 Trucks service the Matamata, Mount Maunganui, and Hamilton areas on a daily basis. The rest of the fleet is routed anywhere from Auckland to the lower South Island as needed. Alongside these Curtainsiders runs a van from Auckland to Waharoa daily.

Bulk: 11 truck and trailer units covering the whole of the North Island. This fleet is responsible for carting fertilizers, stock foods, and other bulk commodities.

Augers: 4 truck and trailer auger units and 3 standard Auger units are routed to cover the Waikato and greater Bay of Plenty areas. Those same Augers operate for ADM, Oil Seed Products, and GCM Feeds carting all stock food related goods.

GCM Feeds

GCM Feeds is the Animal Feeds Divison of Waharoa Transport

We procure, store, and blend a large variety of feeds suitable for mostly dairy cattle and their young stock

Nutritional advice, pricing of individual raw materials, and combined blends are available in house

GCM Feeds would be described as a botique blender, where the cattle and client come first

Most importantly our seven Auger Truck and Trailer units can deliver your feed on time and to the correct destination

Transport Mechanical

Formed in 2015, Transport Mechanical started as the idea that as Waharoa Transport’s fleet growing meant that the workshop would require more staff and resources. The best way to continue to grow would mean branching off and creating a new company entirely.

Currently Transport Mechanical operates 5 and a half days a week with staff on call 24/7 in case there is an emergency.

Transport Mechanical covers all services and warranting for Waharoa Transport fleet vehicles as well as offering services to customers in the area.

Transport Mechanical is directed by Brett Smith and he employs a staff of 8 mechanics working out of the workshop in Waharoa.
